Tight T-shirts, bulging biceps and an attitude to boot. You know who we are talking about. All of us have seen and/or been one of these guys at some point. Today, Sameer Sheikh* tells us what you really need biceps for.
“It’s very hard to build big biceps – it takes time and dedication. But, there are people [mostly men contrary to popular misconception] who view biceps as an indicator of all things man, beefy, and hulk-like. And guys like to feel like they are all of that. They think they’re strong, and more important – tough. When the truth is, after a certain gain in size, biceps [and men] are more of a hindrance than anything else. Really. You can’t actually bend the arm to its full intended extent. You have trouble washing your back. And, you kind of look pretty retarded. The bicep is a muscle designed to perform pulls and lifts. How fast do you really need to open a door? How many shopping bags will you pick up? And the average Indian woman is about 100lbs [hopefully] – threshold is not that high, buddy!”
