There’s no such thing as having watched Friends too many times – people who have seen it will know what I’m talking about. But the Thanksgiving episodes are especially hard to watch, what with all the elaborate feasts Monica prepares! Well, Thanksgiving is right around the corner and the feast you get at these places in the city will definitely make it easier to watch those episodes the next time around.
The Olive Bar & Kitchen at Bandra is offering a three course menu as a Thanksgiving celebration. Appetizers include Crostini, Salmon Confit and Pressed Lamb Ribs. It’s not authentic Thanksgiving, but you don’t care because of how tasty it is. Well, it could always get more authentic in the mains, which feature Roast Turkey Breast & Leg with potatoes, winter vegetables and cranberry, Farm-Fresh Risotto and Grilled Chicken with goat cheese, chipotle, burnt rice and fresh, seasonal spices. By the time you’re done with the dessert section, which has Baked Apple Pie with vanilla custard, and Sweet Potato & Chocolate Brownie with ginger chocolate mousse, you will almost forget Monica’s legendary meals.
